Want to see if you could donate bone marrow? Stop by Commons anytime from now until 4 p.m. to participate in the Mandi Schwartz Marrow Donor Registration Drive.

The drive is in recognition of Yale’s former women’s ice hockey player, Mandi Schwartz, who passed away from leukemia in the spring of 2011.

The drive honors former women’s hockey player Mandi Schwartz ’11, who died last April after a battle with leukemia. Out of the 2,500 potential donors that have registered through past Yale drives, six matches have been found for patients in need of a marrow donation. The drive is part of a nationwide campaign, “Get in the Game. Save a Life.” for the Be The Match Registry.
