It was only a matter of time.

ESPN’s flagship program, SportsCenter, talked with quarterback Patrick Witt ’12 on Thursday about the scheduling conflict between The Game and his Rhodes Scholarship interview. Witt said that he has not made a decision about which he will choose yet.

Some choice quotes from Witt:

On making the decision between the Game and his Rhodes Scholarship interview: “It’s going to take a lot of thought and a lot of prayers. I haven’t made a decision at this point.”

On the difference between playing for Yale and the University of Nebraska: “The biggest difference is just that there’s not 90,000 screaming fans in the stands every Saturday.”

On whether it was harder to win an Ivy League title or earn a 3.91 GPA: “Considering I haven’t won an Ivy League title yet, and I do have the 3.9, I’d say the Ivy League title.”
