Will Swing Space scream for ice cream?

Swing Space resident fellows Allison Guth, Bowen Posner, and Hiro Suzuki invited juniors annexed in Swing Space to a Thursday night ice cream social. The event intends to help residents of Swing Space get to know one another, as they all come from different residential colleges that need annex space.

“We hope that you will choose not to pull an eat & run,” the email said.

Only two students are housed in each Swing Space suite, and annexed students from Berkeley, Ezra Stiles, Morse and Trumbull colleges have single bedrooms, John Meeske, associate dean for student organizations and physical resources, told the News this January.

“It should be a very different situation, where people don’t have to worry about being forced to move off campus,” Meeske said in January. “Swing Space should become a really desirable option.”

The Swing Space Council also has a Halloween movie night in the works to promote further Swing Space bonding.
