Are toddlers starting to think about Yale?

One woman is suing her 4-year-old daughter’s preschool for making her child spend time with “lesser-minded 2- and 3-year-olds, and not focusing on test preparation to get into an elite elementary school.”

In a piece called “The road to yale begins at pre-K. Not.” YourNabe.com, an online news source for the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens neighborhoods, asks:

Other 2- and 3-year-olds? How utterly horrible. So pedestrian. How much worse can it get than other 2- and 3-year-olds? … What possible outcome did you expect from pre-school, a scholarship to Yale at five? Hello, she’s four.

The $19,000 suit claims that all the preschoolers were put together, notwithstanding their age differences and that the school was still teaching her precious little one “about shapes and colors.”

Oh dear. How will her daughter ever get to Yale at this rate?
