Maybe Yale’s Panhellenic Council will not need a fourth sorority after all — a new sisterhood is interested in starting a chapter on campus.

Delta Psi Epsilon Christian Sorority, Inc. is seeking to set up a chapter at Yale, according to an e-mail sent by Nicole Negbenebor ’12 to undisclosed recipients. Negbenebor wrote in the e-mail she had already been contacted by the group’s national recruitment director.

“Our purpose is to bring Christ to women of all races, creeds, tongues and denominations,” the e-mail said. “It is our goal to spread the love of God throughout the world by the association of women.”

Hopeful members have to be undergraduates pursuing a four-year degree in an accredited higher education institution, have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, and show an interest in joining a Christian sorority.
