New Haven did not have a white Christmas but it is looking like it will have a white December 26. The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning starting 6 a.m. Sunday until 6 p.m. Monday. In what will be the first major snowfall of the season, 11 to 16 inches of snow are forecast to fall.

UPDATE: December 26, 4:17 p.m.

Due to the snow, Yale shuttles and door to door service will not operate tonight, according to an e-mail from Manager of Parking and Transit Edwin Bebyn. Beryn said shuttle service would resume as soon as safely possible but it is “highly unlikely” the routes will be able to resume tomorrow morning.
