Yale vuvuzelas may have gone unused at The Game — where they were banned by Harvard administrators — but they came out in full force Friday at midnight.

Jonathan Edwards College’s Coalition of Midnight Assholes comes through Branford College’s courtyard every year at midnight the night before final exams begin, but they usually stick to banging pots and pans.

But this year, they brought reinforcements: The students’ efforts were amplified by trombones and the ever-present vuvuzelas, prompting Branfordians studying in the college’s dining hall to run to the windows and groan.
