As Yalies get out to vote today, the Web is offering a number of resources to make the process easier.

Google has set up an election center where voters can find the nearest polling station to them. By visiting googleelectioncenter.com, Yalies can figure out where to go to vote near campus.

Facebook is also reminding voters to go hit the polls; for users 18 and older, a reminder appears on the top of the newsfeed. Facebook users at Yale are using the social media site to encourage voters to get out today. Yalies involved with the voter registration and voting process — namely the Yale College Democrats — have changed their profile pictures to display a “Yale Votes 2010” advertisement.

Students who chose to vote today are able to get a button displayed on their Facebook profile indicating that they have participated in the election.
