It’s no “That’s Why I Chose Yale.”

The Princeton Tiger, the university’s humor magazine, posted a video called “Welcome to Princeton” playfully teasing some ubiquitous freshmen experiences. The video features Timmy, a “Gee-Golly!” freshman sporting pink and white-spotted overalls, Woodrow Wilson and his monocle, and a bow-tied acapella group, the Princeton Tigertones. The amount of singing, however, pales in comparison to Yale’s admissions video.

Even in New Haven we can identify with some of the Princetonian freshmen experiences such as listening to the inside jokes of freshman who did pre-orientation programs and navigating the overwhelming activities bazaar. But, we raised our eyebrows when a reporter for The Daily Princetonian who told Timmy that if he writes for them “you can make up stuff about everyone.”
