The New Haven Review, edited by Yale Journalism Initiative director Mark Oppenheimer ’96 GRD ’03, decided to make a list of about 20 non-fiction writers to look out for who are mostly under 40.

It is — admittedly on their part — an echo of the New Yorker’s attention garnering “20 Under 40,” which came out this summer and featured fiction writers like Gary Shteyngart and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichi.

Chuck Klosterman, Kelefa Sanneh and Keith Gessen are among the writers on the New Haven Review’s list. We were most excited to see the inclusion of Lindy West.
