W. HOCKEY | Women’s hockey head coach Hilary Witt’s off-season schedule just got a little bit busier.

The Bulldog coach was named an assistant coach for USA Hockey’s Under-22 Select Team on Wednesday. Witt will be on the bench when the team plays at the 2010 USA Hockey Women’s National Festival starting Aug. 13 in Lake Placid, N.Y., and in a three-game series in Canada beginning Aug. 18.

This is nothing new for Witt — she played on the U.S. National team in 2000-’01 and was an assistant for the U.S. in 2006-’07.
