M. LACROSSE | After a thrilling 9–8 win over Harvard to win a share of the Ivy League title, the men’s lacrosse team has a date with No. 9 Princeton on Friday at 5 p.m. in Ithaca, N.Y., in the first game of the Ivy League Tournament. The No. 15 Bulldogs are the third seed in the tournament, while the Tigers are the second seed.
Cornell, the tournament’s host, is the number one seed and faces fourth-seeded Brown Friday at 8 p.m. The winners of each game meet in the final at Cornell’s Schoellkopf Field on Saturday at noon. Saturday’s winner earns the Ivy League’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
A Bulldog loss on Friday could put the team’s NCAA Tournament chances in jeopardy, while at least a win over the Tigers may be enough to impress the tournament committee.
Tickets can be purchased in advance through the Cornell Ticket Office, or at the field.
