THE NEWS
- According to the most recent Yale Dining survey, only 1.3 percent of Yale students identify as having a vegan diet, yet vegan dishes represent one of six or seven entrée options at each meal. Some non-vegan students are questioning whether the resources to provide vegan food could be better spent increasing the variety of other dishes.
If you weren’t at last Saturday’s men’s hockey game against Clarkson, there’s only one statistic you need to know: three Yale goals in 51 seconds. “We’re a team that feeds off of momentum and once we got that second goal I think guys started to believe a little bit,” right winger Sean Backman ’10 said.
Starting Monday, events kick off for Haiti Week, a series of educational panels and social events designed to raise awareness and funds for the on-going relief efforts for earthquake-struck Haiti.
