The Shaw’s Supermarkets chain is selling all 18 of its Connecticut stores, but no one has stepped up to buy the New Haven branch on Whalley Avenue, the Hartford Courant reported.

ShopRite and PriceRite are purchasing 11 of the Connecticut stores, and Stop & Shop is buying five, the Courant reported.

Shaw’s was facing tough competition in the state from stores such as Walmart and Whole Foods.

The Manchester, Conn., Shaw’s also does not have a buyer, according to the Courant.
