Stephen Colbert of Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report” took time on the air Monday night to comment on an alleged Skull and Bones artifact that is slated to go on the auction block at Christie’s in New York City next week. The artifact appears to be a ballot box made out of a human skull engraved with the word “THOR,” and it will likely sell for between $10,000 to $20,000. Colbert said that figure was a small price to pay when compared with the prospect of owning such a precious memento of the Skull and Bones experience.

“Yes, it’s a bit gruesome,” Colbert said. “But you should have seen where they stuffed the ballots before the guy died.”
