The mayoral election in the City of New Haven will take place this Tuesday, Nov. 3.

To raise awareness of the issues in the election and of the various candidates, the News solicited opinion submissions from all of the men and women running in this general election: Angela Watley, Ralph Ferrucci, Henri Sumner and the incumbent, John DeStefano, Jr.

The News received column submissions from three of these four and has printed them on this page. Henri Sumner did not submit a column in time for publication.
