Although a date has not been set for his return, incoming Jonathan Edwards Master Richard Lalli MUS ’86 said in an e-mail to the JE community Wednesday that his recovery from the brain hemorrhage he suffered last December has been encouraging. Lalli said he must continue physical therapy and occupational therapy to relearn skills that were affected by the hemorrhage. Describing his speed of recovery as “hard to predict,” he wrote that he has delayed a decision about when he and his partner Michael Rigsby MED ’88 will take their positions as master and associate master of the college until early summer. Lalli was originally set to assume the mastership on January 1.
