A graduate student was robbed at 2:54 p.m. Monday on Lynwood Place between Elm Street and Edgewood Avenue. The male robber, who was unarmed, took the student’s wallet and cell phone. The student was not injured. Yale Police Chief James A. Perrotti informed the campus of the robbery via e-mail Monday afternoon less than two hours after the robbery occurred. Perrotti had not sent a campuswide e-mail informing students of a local crime in over a month. On Sept. 28, he sent an e-mail saying police had arrested a male suspected of committing multiple robberies in the East Rock neighborhood.
