The Augusta Troup School — the 26th school to be renovated by the $1.5-billion Citywide School Construction Program — was dedicated over the weekend. Mayor John DeStefano Jr. attended the dedication Sunday, at which the school’s auditorium was separately named for alumnus and Yale utilities engineer Philip Voigt. The New Cooperative Arts and Humanities High School, a school to be constructed downtown under the city program, will open in January.
