The Bulldogs can’t be unsatisfied with their first half performance, taking a commanding 20-0 lead but it could’ve been better for the Bulldogs. With a couple drives stalling in Hoya territory, the Elis certainly could’ve put more points on the board.
The Bulldog defense is playing great — just as advertised. But it’s been the offense that has turned some heads. Last season, the running game carried Yale but thus far McLeod hasn’t put up his usual numbers — carrying the ball 14 times for just 32 yards. It has been the two-headed monster at quarterback — Fodor and Hart — that has carried the Yale offense. Each threw a touchdown pass and over 100 yards in the half.
