Yale’s various religious communities assembled on Old Campus on Wednesday for an open house showcasing the University’s religious diversity. The event marked the first gathering of its kind at Yale: Its intent was not to seek new members but rather to expose attendees to the different aspects of religious and spiritual life on campus, University Chaplain Sharon Kugler said. The event was organized by the Inter-religious Leadership Council, a student organization formed in February to promote understanding among Elis of different faiths.
