The Howe Cup may already be in Princeton’s hands, but the 2007-08 women’s squash season still has some more action left this season.

This Friday the nation’s best will compete at CSA Individual Championships at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. Several Bulldogs will compete, including the nation’s top-ranked player, Miranda Ranieri ’08.

Ranieri heads into this year’s tournament after leading the Bulldogs to a third place finish in the CSA Howe Cup. Last season she reached the semifinals before falling to Harvard’s Kyla Grigg, the eventual runner-up. Ranieri will look to bring back the individual title after Michelle Quibell ’06 was able to win back-to-back titles to conclude the 2004 and 2005 seasons.

In addition to Ranieri, several members of the team, including the team’s No. 2 and 3 players, freshmen Logan Greer and Sarah Toomey, will represent Yale. Both players are ranked in the nation’s top 20, and with a good draw each can prove to go far this weekend.
