After falling, 9-0, to Princeton last week, the Elis (9-2, 3-1 Ivy) will try to regroup against Brown (3-8, 0-5) this weekend before taking on Harvard on Wednesday.

The No. 15 Bears should be easy picking for the Bulldogs. Other than their losses to No. 1 Trinity and No. 2 Princeton, the Elis have dominated every team they have faced this season, including seven squads ranked ahead of Brown.

The Bulldogs will also have history on their side. In their last three matches against the Bears, the Bulldogs have won 9-0, 8-1 and 9-0. Last season’s 9-0 rout of Brown came on the heels of a disappointing 6-3 loss to the Tigers. The Elis came out on fire against the Bears, winning every game at every number. The perfect match helped the Bulldogs brush off the disappointment of losing to Princeton and polish up their skills heading into the season’s final weeks.

Although last week’s loss to the Tigers effectively ended the Bulldogs’ title pursuit, the Elis still have a chance to avenge last year’s defeat to Harvard this upcoming Wednesday, when the Cantabs visit the Elm City. Before taking on the Crimson, however, the Bulldogs will have to take care of business in Rhode Island.
