Last Saturday’s win over Brown was tight. This week, the men’s basketball team will square off against the Bears, this time in Providence.

The Elis head into their first conference away game hoping to take two matches from Brown for the first time in eight years, with one victory already secured in a nail-biting overtime frame.

“[The first] win doesn’t mean much unless we take care of business next week,” Ivy League Player of the Week and forward Ross Morin ’09 said after last weekend’s win.

The Bears’ three-point shooters gave the Bulldogs a hard time at the Lee Amphitheater, sinking 44 percent of their shots from beyond the arc. The Elis’ own trouble on the road — the team is 2-6 away from New Haven — will be another hurdle for the boys in blue.
