To the Editor:

I’m writing regarding “Unfit Elis missing out on benefits of exercise” (1/16). I am thoroughly boggled as to the newsworthiness of this article and cannot understand how it was published. There was no poll, no study, no widespread reporting done to confirm anything about Yalies not being fit.

Where on earth did the idea that Yale students don’t work out come from?

The author made a random allegation and then conducted what essentially boiled down to “man-on-the-street” interviews. There was no information conveyed to me, whatsoever.
