To the Editor:
In “Key to better education: respect for TAs’ work” (3/14), Phoebe Rounds wrote that undergraduate education at Yale will improve if the University shows respect for the work that TAs do by recognizing GESO. Undergraduate education might also improve if some TAs spent less time going to meetings and protesting and more time preparing their lessons and pursuing their research, doing something that the University might indeed respect.
That is how those of us who have no interest in being represented by GESO seek respect, something it is worth noting GESO is seldom willing to grant us.
