The women’s tennis team wrapped its regular season with a dominating 7-0 win over Dartmouth (6-13, 1-6 Ivy). Ranked No. 51 in the latest national rankings, Yale (16-3, 5-2) will finish third in the Ivy League

Yale remains hopeful it will earn a bid to the NCAA tournament. The selection will be announced today.

Captain Biffy Kaufman ’03 ended a stellar season, and career, with a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles. She is ranked No. 102 in the nation. The team’s only other senior, Susie Hiniker ’03, finished her No. 3 singles opponent 6-2, 6-0. Kaufman and Hiniker finished 23-8 and 23-7, respectively, this season in singles.

Margaret Purcell ’04 and Karlyn Martin ’04 also won in straight sets.

Yale’s three doubles squads put forth a dominating performance, dropping only three games of 27 total against the Big Green.
