An Orange teenager was struck and killed by a Metro-North Commuter Rail train on Tuesday.
The body of Brian D’Orso, 16, was identified during an autopsy Wednesday.
D’Orso was struck around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday on a northbound stretch of Metro-North Railroad tracks near the Great River Golf Club in Milford.
The conductor told police he saw a person on the tracks ahead of the train and sounded the horn, but was not able to stop before striking the boy.
Police found D’Orso’s bicycle nearby.
The Metropolitan Transit Authority police are investigating.
