The Department of Children and Families plans to run an advertisement this week featuring some Connecticut children who are looking for families to adopt them.
The state agency will place more than 500,000 inserts on Thursday and Friday in The Hartford Courant, New Haven Register, The Day of New London, Connecticut Post and Waterbury Republican-American.
The ads include photos and stories of 19 children from ages three to 14 in state care who are looking for permanent homes. Each story also lists the name and phone number of an adoption specialist at DCF.
