At the Cornell Invitational, Matthew Feldman ’06 lost in the class B Finals while Neil Tolaney ’04 lost in the D Finals at the Cornell Invitational.

The Bulldogs begin the year ranked No. 65 in the nation, and with high hopes of erasing the memories of a subpar season last spring.

“I think we have the best team in the Ivy League,” Matthew Feldman ’06 said. “Harvard’s team will be this year’s toughest competition.”

The team enters the season ranked third in the Ivy League, behind both Harvard and Brown. The Bulldogs are hoping to use their fall schedule to determine the best lineup for the spring season. The tournaments this weekend also gave several freshmen the chance to experience their first varsity competition.

The Elis have a chance to redeem themselves next weekend at the Yale Invitational, featuring Cornell, Columbia and Dartmouth.
