To the Editor:
May I suggest that Sen. Hillary Clinton is the avatar for stand-by-your-man-ism hypocrisy, corruption and gaining political power through your husband’s achievement? Is this the kind of role model Yale women wish to imitate? It would be more appropriate, if you are really looking for an avatar for feminists, to invite a woman who’s achieved her status entirely on her own merits.
As the mother of two college students, I am delighted my children are not attending Yale. I would be infuriated by the presence of Clinton and what that presence signifies.
