When is ACCN?
This year the conference will take place on Friday, January 27th 2017, and Saturday, January 28th 2017.
Who should attend ACCN?
We welcome all students who are involved with their college newspapers, irrespective of class year or academic background.
Whether you are interested in investigative and opinion journalism or social media and content delivery systems, we strongly encourage you to register for the conference. The structure of the conference enables students to both learn more about the areas of journalism that interest them and develop a more comprehensive and holistic view of the industry.
Why should I attend?
ACCN is a unique opportunity for students to learn from highly-experienced professional and their peers about recent trends and developments in the field of journalism. It is also a platform to share ideas and brainstorm new initiatives that a newspaper can undertake to build its brand.
You will come away from the conference with valuable knowledge and insights into how you can improve your college’s newspaper.
Will there be housing available for students?
If requested, students from your school can stay with student hosts from the Yale Daily News on campus.

The registration fee per participant is $65. Each school can bring a maximum of 6 students.
