Power to quarantine bestowed

Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy signed an order on Tuesday, giving Connecticut State Health Commissioner Jewel Mullen the power to order quarantines of people who have been exposed to the Ebola virus, according to Boston, Mass., news outlet WCVB.

Princeton repeals grade deflation policy

Instead of limiting the portion of “As” to 35 percent of total grades, each university department will now determine its own grading standards and distributions. The new grading policy asks faculty to evaluate their students based on “well-designed, meaningful grading standards,” according to the Daily Princetonian.
