Dante de Blasio to attend Yale

De Blasio, who applied to ten universities and was accepted by all of them, was reportedly considering other top-tier institutions such as Brown and Amherst. However, de Blasio ultimately chose Yale because of the University’s strong offerings in history, philosophy and political science, a mayoral spokesperson told The New York Times.

Student robbed on Morse-Stiles walkway

At 2:25 a.m. Wednesday, a student was robbed and assaulted on campus, Yale Police Department Chief Ronnell Higgins wrote in an email to the University community.

Beinecke preps for renovation

After commencement, students, faculty and other patrons of the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library will not be able to step foot in the building for 16 months. Because the library is being renovated, its nexus will temporarily shift to Sterling Memorial Library, to be housed in the Franke Family Reading Room in Sterling Memorial Library.
