What appeared to be a computer glitch in Yale’s online grade-posting system was rectified Friday.

Students normally receive an email alert when a grade has been posted online and cannot access the grade until completing an end-of-term evaluation for the course. But this semester, students did not receive notifications when professors posted grades, and were temporarily able to view their grades without completing their course evaluations.

The apparent glitch has been fixed as of Friday, and students once again must complete evaluations for each of their fall-term courses before obtaining access to their online grade report.

University Registrar Gabriel Olszewski did not respond to requests for comment this week.
