M. LACROSSE | Elis claim Ivy championship
The No. 15 men’s lacrosse team qualified for the NCAA Tournament on Sunday when it won the 2012 Ivy League Tournament with a 15–7 victory over Princeton. It was the ninth consecutive win for the Bulldogs, who beat perennial Ivy League powerhouse No. 13 Cornell on Friday, 14–10. Attackman Deron Dempster ’13 notched a hat trick, Matt Gibson ’12 earned tournament MVP honors after contributing two goals and six points, and goaltender Jack Meyer ’14 had nine saves against Princeton.
