The Queen of Indie’s kingdom will soon include the Yale Repertory Theatre.

Actress Parker Posey will be starring in The Realistic Joneses, slated to run from April 20-May 12 at the Rep. Written by Pulitzer-prize nominee Will Eno and directed by OBIE Award winner Sam Gold, the play focuses on “two suburban couples who have more in common than their identical homes and the same last name on their mailboxes.”

The production features the all-star cast of Posey, Johanna Day, Glen Fitzgerald and Tracy Letts. Posey is well known for her appearance in a stream of Indie flicks, including 1993’s cult hit “Dazed and Confused” and 1997’s “Clockwatchers.” Day, who was nominated for a Tony award for her performance in the Broadway production “Proof,” has appeared in numerous television shows, including All My Children and Law and Order: SVU. Fitzgerald’s movie credits include The Sixth Sense and Buffalo Soldiers, while Tracy Letts received the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

Tickets for the show range from $20-88 and are available at the www.yalerep.org, by phone or in person.
