We’re starting to lose track track of James Franco’s GRD ’16 educational history, but it seems that, for now, he will not enroll in a sixth graduate program.

Franco was accepted to the University of Houston’s creative writing program last spring and deferred his enrollment for one year, but he has decided not to start classes there this fall, the Houston Chronicle reported Monday. James Kastley, director of the University of Houston’s creative writing program, said Franco informed him of his decision not to attend in mid-February.

Franco has previously enrolled in graduate programs at Yale, New York University, Columbia University and Brooklyn College, and he is also listed online as a second-year student at the Rhode Island School of Design.

“The problem is, he’s just very busy, so the future is uncertain,” Kastley told the Chronicle.

Busy, indeed: in between all that creative writing, the “127 Hours” and “General Hospital” star recently made an experimental film, “Francophrenia”, that will play at the Tribeca Film Festival next month.

James Franco is just a huge real-life troll.

James has frequently commented on how education has enriched his life. Although I do not know him personally, I am sure this was a disappointing decission for him knowing what an excellent Creative Writting Program the U of H offers. Despite his fame and exceptional ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, he is only human and does have limitations like the rest of us. Choices have to be made. Perhapse he will be able to attend at some point in the future. I wish him all the best.
