THE NEWS

  • A new Yale College Council initiative aims to keep students’ freshly washed laundry off the floor. The new program, which was piloted in Silliman College this semester, will install cubbies, plastic bins and whiteboards in every residential college by next fall in an attempt to keep laundry rooms better organized.
  • While the fields of music composition and visual art may seem disparate to some, experimental artist and composer Marina Rosenfeld’s art attempts to weave a dialogue between the two.
  • While Yale has not participated in fundraising efforts for Yale-NUS, National University of Singapore President Tan Chorh Chuan told the News that $16 million has already been raised for the college.
