Verde ’11 dies

Ralph Verde ’11 died this morning at his home New Jersey, Morse Master Frank Keil announced in a Friday morning email. Verde had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer, the email said.

Keil said that Verde was a “much loved member of Morse and of Yale’s broader community as well as a source of great pride to his home town of Little Falls.”

There will be events held in honor of Verde, but no details have been formally released. In the meantime, Master Keil invited Morsels to meet in their common room at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
