THE NEWS

  • An exhibition at the Yale Center for British Art called “Johann Zoffany RA” features works by 18th century artist Johann Zoffany, whose has never been shown in the United States and has not been shown anywhere in the world in the past 35 years.
  • This year’s Sophomore Class Council hopes to increase outreach to students while avoiding mistakes made by last year’s Council. SCC President John Gonzalez ’14 said one of his main goals is to provide “some sort of legitimacy” for the Council since many students consider the Council ineffective at providing support for its constituents.
  • In the past ten years, five stores have opened at 45 High street: Mailboxes Etc., Tasti D-Lite, Liberry, High Street Burger and — most recently — the Little Salad Shop. But does this mean the location is cursed?
