Most Yalies, like any college-students, may be late-risers, but a few do love the Yale campus early in the morning, after the birds start to sing around 5 a.m. and the sun’s first rays hit the Woolsey Hall rotunda. At the begin- ning of the school year, many Elis embark on new journeys; they can see the year stretching out in front of them just like a good day waiting to be seized.
