Kristof coming to speak at Yale

Two-time Pulitzer Prize winner and New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof is speaking at the Yale Law School on Tuesday, April 5, according to a press release issued Friday by the Office of Public Affairs & Communications.

He will be talking about his new book, “Half the Sky: From Oppression to Opportunity for Women Worldwide.” He co-authored this book with his wife, Sheryl WuDunn, who will be a senior fellow next fall at Yale’s Jackson Institute for Global Affairs and was previously a Times journalist.

The couple has previously collaborated – in 1990, they became the first married couple to win a Pulitzer for journalism. They also wrote “China Wakes: The Struggle for the Soul of a Rising Power” and “Thunder from the East: Portrait of a Rising Asia” together.

His visit is sponsored by the Chubb Fellowship at Timothy Dwight College.
