If you want to watch the men’s hockey team begin its hunt for the national championship in Bridgeport this weekend, get to the Yale Athletics ticket office quickly.

Tickets subsidized by the Department of Athletics to this weekend’s NCAA Regional will be available on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the ticket office in Ray Tompkins House, located at 20 Tower Parkway.

A valid Yale ID entitles you to one subsidized ticket at $20 and one guest ticket for the full $60 face value.

“We suggest that students purchase tickets as soon as possible, as we expect the event to be sold out by game-day,” Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket and Rink Operations Jeremy Makins wrote in an email.

Yale will play Air Force at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Bridgeport’s Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yard. If the Elis win that game, they will play again at the same time and in the same place Saturday.

Bridgeport is 21 minutes from New Haven on Metro-North’s New York-New Haven line. A round trip ticket costs $6. The arena is within walking distance of the train station.
