As part of the celebration of Black History Month, the Yale chapter of the NAACP hosted a poetry slam Saturday. Nationally acclaimed poets and Yale students mingled, celebrated the legacy of community leaders and activists that paved the way for the social justice, and enjoyed an afternoon of poetry together at the Afro-American Cultural Center.
