THE NEWS

  • A bill restricting Connecticut employers from using credit reports in hiring decisions has pitted the University against its unions once again.
  • Many consider former World Bank President and Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz to have been one of the principal architects of the 2003 invasion of Iraq, but at a Wednesday talk, he argued that democratic reform should be a gradual process, not a sudden shift.
  • Next week, students will have a chance to grade their professors.

    The Yale College Council is beginning an initiative to look at how professors give students feedback at the end of each semester, starting with a survey that the Council will send to students early next week.
