THE NEWS

  • Meet the farmers. Reporter Emily Foxhall profiles the vendors who make it out to Wooster Square to sell their goods even in the harsh of winter.
  • Sen. Joseph Lieberman’s ’64 LAW ’67 careerin elected office may be ending in 2013, but he will not be riding into the sunset just yet. In a speech last Wednesday announcing his plans to retire after serving four terms in the Senate, Lieberman pledged to continue fighting for the causes he is passionate about. And as he moves forward, those interviewed said they expect him to be far from a lame duck, and that his influence in the Senate may actually increase.
  • Yale will soon have its own version of a NOW CD.17O1 Records, a new student-run company, has collected over 100 submissions of original student music for a 10 to 15-track CD spanning the campus’ musical genres.
