As editors of the Yale Daily News Magazine, we are thrilled to be launching the “Magazine” section of the blog. Over the past year we’ve redesigned the content and image of the Magazine. The last step in this transition and re-envisioning process has been translating our print product to the web. Given that the magazine still only comes out once a month, dedicating a portion of the blog to the Magazine seems the perfect way to provide our readers with content between issues.Our section of the blog will be dedicated to taking a closer look at the creative nonfiction, fiction, and poetry published in the Magazine. Posts will give an insider’s look at the process of writing and reporting a feature piece. Our writers will provide supplementary information on projects they are working on or updates on individuals or groups they have written about in the past. We hope you are as excited as we are to watch our section of the YDN blog grow and develop. Enjoy!
