The Whiffenpoofs will soon have yet another brush with fame. After getting kudos from Ben Folds and Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger on NBC’s “The Sing-Off” and singing at Lincoln Center last weekend, the Whiffenpoofs will perform alongside actress and singer Idina Menzel in a benefit concert this March.

The benefit, co-hosted by the Association of Yale Alumni, the Yale Club of Southern California and Eli’s Mishpucha: Yale’s Jewish Alumni Group, will feature Menzel and the Whiffenpoofs in concert, with actor Josh Malina ’88 presiding as master of ceremonies. Proceeds from the concert will go to P.S. ARTS, a non-profit group that seeks to bring arts education to public schools.

For those willing to make the trip to Santa Monica, tickets are $100 and $125, and the show will take place March 11 at 8 pm.
