Spreading holiday cheer on Chapel Street, the Yale Undergraduate Madrigal Singers caroled outside the Yale Center for British Art this afternoon. Their repertoire included seasonal favorites “Joy to the World” and “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” as well as an arrangement of the Beatles’ “Can’t Buy Me Love.” To one onlooker’s disappointment, they did not have the music for “Jingle Bell Rock.”

The Madrigal Singers will run around campus and through college dining halls caroling next Wednesday, member Hana Zegeye ’13 said.
